Interesting Comments by Ellen Goodman

Ellen Goodman, author, American journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist, had an interesting observation about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton concerning each one's ability to tap into their female sides. Barack appears to be more successful than Hillary. Perhaps it's because a confident alpha male has nothing to lose by showing traits we traditionally ascribe to women such as compassion, empathy and nurturing. Hillary, on the other hand, feels that to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate she has to emphasize her male skills and be decisive, aggressive, combative, confident and unemotional. Odd that the only time she allowed us to see her "female" side (New Hampshire) paid off for her. What do you think?

On-Point Radio Program

I just finished an hour radio broadcast - LIVE. People called in with comments and questions. Two of the 8 people were men. Two people agreed with me. One said I was giving away secrets and three disagreed with me. Of course I can't remember anything about those three conversations. I've posted the link if you want to listen for yourself. The book is out today.
